MinebeaMitsumi to Make Debut at CES 2026

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. is pleased to announce its first participation as an exhibitor at CES 2026, the world’s premier technology trade fair. The event will take place from Tuesday, January 6 to Friday, January 9, 2026.
Driven by the concept of “INTEGRATION” x “Collaboration,” MinebeaMitsumi aims to promote its cutting-edge precision components to the global market at this event. Among the display will be the high-torque micro actuator for robot hands, jointly developed with Harmonic Drive Systems Inc.. These components are critical for driving emerging technological innovation aimed at solving social challenges.

CES serves as a global hub for innovators, showcasing groundbreaking technologies and solutions for addressing social issues. For this event, MinebeaMitsumi will bring its future-oriented solutions like precision components and technologies that target high-growth sectors, such as humanoid robots, fully autonomous driving, and drones, which the company identifies as key growth drivers. “Five Pillars*“.

Targeting the humanoid robots sector, MinebeaMitsumi will exhibit its various products engineered for durability, reliability, torque, sensitivity and quietness—all necessary for robot hands to perform work equivalent to that of a human. The booth will highlight the first public demonstration of the robot hand employing geared micro actuators, (W: 13 mm × H: 19.4 mm × L: 60.4 mm) co-developed with Harmonic Drive Systems and its related components. They provide both speed and power. As the issue with robot currently lies in robustness of the body, MinebeaMitsumi believes developing functions that enable the robot hand to perform human-like motions, such as holding heavy objects and executing detailed movements, is becoming increasingly important. One finger of the robot hand is capable of lifting an object weighing 5 kg. Moreover, the hand, which incorporates MinebeaMitsumi’s strain sensor in the fingertip, can sense the hardness and softness of objects, allowing it to utilize different gripping motions with the same hand.

At this event, MinebeaMitsumi will showcase its strength as an “INTEGRATED Precision Component Manufacturer”—pursuing synergy effects by fusing its core product lineup, the “8 Spears,” which are centered around ultra-precision machining and mass production technologies, and aggressively promote this integrated product lineup to engineers and partners globally, starting with the U.S. market.
Going forward, MinebeaMitsumi remains dedicated to driving global shifts toward electrification, energy-saving, and high-functionality across a wide range of areas including industrial, automotive, and IoT, in order to help building a sustainable society.
