Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) applications continue to grow due to decreasing labor resources. MinebeaMitsumi has developed an integrated wheel solution for automated robots that combines a high-precision planetary gear, a powerful electric motor along with a brake and electronics.
This design is highly modular and can be easily customized in order to optimize torque, interfaces, sensors and control profiles for each application. The motor is capable of consistently high acceleration and speed while under high radial load. Standard communication interfaces enable efficient drive control systems for electronic axles.
