New MinebeaMitsumi Osaka Research and Development Center

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. hereby announces the establishment of MinebeaMitsumi Osaka in Osaka city of Osaka prefecture. The establishment was made to form a new development base called Osaka Research and Development Center (ORDC) for technical experts. MinebeaMitsumi also relocated the current MinebeaMitsumi Osaka Sales Office and centralized the sales team of U-Shin, U-Shin Showa, and ABLIC to the same location.

MinebeaMitsumi established the Tokyo Research and Development Center (TRDC) in 2013. Since then, it has served as the linchpin of each base of MinebeaMitsumi Group by supporting integration activities that bring the product development and the diverse core technologies of each business division together to generate synergy effects. In addition to TRDC and the development division of each business unit, MinebeaMitsumi decided to open a new R&D base in Osaka to enhance new product and service development, even more, to support edge devices that contribute to solving potential social issues on top of conventional products. Furthermore, through centralizing Osaka sales bases, MinebeaMitsumi aims to elevate the services for all the customers in western Japan and revitalize integration and strengthen industry-academia collaboration in the Kansai region by building collaborative structures with universities and companies of the Kansai region.
